How did this all begin? How did I ever become the type to build my own computer or write my own code? As I think back on how—on when—chips and cards and keys began to run through my veins, hidden memories and emotions begin to resurface. A small boy, infatuated with his dad. A father, infatuated with technology. That’s how this love affair began, and it never died.
I began this narrative under the premise of educating others about my history with technology and the love that grew out of countless hours spent behind a screen. Yet, the forgotten memories told a story greater than words could express. My love and its origins has been kindled anew.
